Dr.Bal and her staff are carrying on the trustworthy care and excellence in dentistry left by my former dentist, Dr. Stephen Ostwald with whom I had known since 1982. I feel very grateful for his decision to choose her as his successor.

I’ve known Dr. Ostwald since he was a resident at the Mount Zion Dental Clinic back in the early 80s. He has been my dentist for 30 years. Can’t recommend him highly enough. As well as being an excellent and compassionate dentist, he is a man of integrity. Although he is careful to inform me of the risks and benefits of any dental work that’s not urgent but might lead to problems later on, I have never felt pressured to have the work done. I feel free to make the decision in my own time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and over 30 years there hasn’t been much turnover; to me this indicates that Dr. Ostwald is a good and fair employer. I would recommend Dr. Ostwald to anyone who’s looking for a good dentist!
