Site for Sore Eyes – SF West Portal

Description

Site for Sore Eyes continues, as it did when their first optical store opened in 1979, to go beyond- providing the best quality eyewear, accurate eye exams and fast, courteous service from our sales staff and opticians- to serve Northern California with exceptional value. With over 40 locations, each of our California eyewear stores is individually owned, operated, and has its own unique style. What is common to each, however, is the attention dedicated to eyecare services and our selection of eyewear products.

So happy to have discovered this place. I went in with my own purchased frames. But there is certainly NO need to do this. They have an incredible selection of frames. Amazing designer frames. All cool and there for you. I saw at least 3 more that I would love to have. I had 2 pair of glasses made. With my new prescription, progressives. I originally opted for the slightly less expensive lenses. They were too thick. I learned that within 2 weeks Site for Sore Eyes with make adjustments for you. Brian took terrific care of me both times. He was very clear as to the cost of the thinner frames. Listen to him! Its not much more but SO worth it! NO need to go downtown for my frames. Right here in the neighborhood.
Terrific experience and easy parking. I highly recommend these guys……. Greg

Second year coming here. I appreciate cleanliness of the place. Booking is always a simple and easy process. Typically get my glasses 2-3 weeks after the exam appointment. Ordered extra accent frames last year because I wanted to change the look of the glasses without buying a new pair and staff was great with following up.

I dropped my pair of sunglasses by my car door, and when I closed the car door the frame of one sunglass was twisted. I took it to Site for Sore Eyes on West Portal to have it fixed. Tony Rivas was very professional and helpful. He took a lot of care to bend the glass frame back into its original shape without breaking it. He also made sure it fit me well. He didn’t charge me anything for his effort! I am very impressed! The store looks very nice and has great selections of sunglasses and frames. I will definitely refer my friends to this store and come back when I need to buy new eyeglasses. Excellent customer service and great selections!
