My experience with Dr. Mayle was nothing short of amazing. Requiring full hip replacement surgery was a surprise to me as I first visited my orthopedist assuming I had a bad knee. My orthopedist directed me to Dr. Mayle who fit me in short notice for the preliminary evaluation. It was clear I needed surgery reasonably soon, which was very easy to schedule through his office.

I was originally nervous about the “matter-of-fact” approach to what I thought to be a major surgery. Dr Mayle and team were exceptional and their confidence and experience merited the matter-of-fact approach. From start to finish, the procedure was efficient and smooth. Check-in to check-out was less than 8 hours. They had me “walking” with crutches within an hour of waking up and I left the surgery center about 2 hours later…. With very clear instructions and expectations.

Dr Mayle was responsive when I had a question (on Christmas Day!) and encouraged me to reach out if anything else came up. My recovery was very smooth. I was walking without crutches within 2 weeks, was able to drive at the 3 week mark, and even played a round of golf eight weeks post-surgery. I have have no issues in the year since having the procedure. Dr. Mayle is a fantastic surgeon and super nice man. I could not imagine a better process. Highly recommended.
