Karl came recommended from another tattoo artist, and he knocked my challenging design out of the park. This was my first tattoo, and it was an excellent experience. Great conversation, chill dude, time efficient, and I get SO many compliments on the quality of my tattoo. 10/10, will return for my next, even though I don’t live in SF anymore.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the music was just the right volume, and they really gave me time to choose my design without any pressure. I’ve been tattooed by a number of artists at this shop and always have a great experience. Most recently, Max did matching tattoos for me and a friend. We gave him a general idea of what we wanted and the design he came up with was perfect. I wanted to fit mine into a gap between some existing tattoos and Max was very patient and accommodating with me when I wanted to see how it would look in a few different spots. Felt very comfortable and well taken care of the whole time I was there. Already planning to come back for another one soon! Thanks max!!
