Ritchie’s Music Center has been in business for over 43 years, serving the musical needs of the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area. We are excited to be in our new location in a historic building in the center of downtown Rockaway. Our friendly staff is here to provide the personal service and advice that the ‘big box’ chains and online retailers don’t, be it for a first time player or a professional. Our highly trained teachers can get new players started and help experienced players reach the next level in their understanding and technique. We offer classes in guitar, bass, drums and percussion, piano, ukulele, and voice. Our experienced luthier and electronics repair departments can handle whatever you need fixed or adjusted. We buy and sell used instruments as well, and look forward to your business!

History
Established in 1977.

Started in West Orange New Jersey, when Jim Bought a small store (P and T Music). He moved it to his home town, Rockaway, a few years later.
